• Responsible for testing and inducing environmental simulation for JSF Fiber Optic Quad-Transceiver using US Military Specifications. Ensure redundant documentation of passing criteria is captured electronically on.
• Perform final test, inline test, and VCSEL characterization of fiber optic quad transceiver using Digital Serial Analyzer, Optical/Electrical Multi-meters, and Thermonics temperature forcing system.
• Age product using temperature cycle and test for integrity by inducing +1500G mechanical shock.
• Visual Inspection of device components, prism defects, solder coverage, and fiber optic connection using 60x magnification microscope.
• Verify no fine or gross leaks present after package is hermetically sealed using helium leak checker and weight gain technique by submerging in Fluorinert in a pressure vessel.
