My position With the Credit Union started in 2018 with forty-two automotive dealers and Indirect lending was doing $4.2 -$4.5 million in total loan volume, as of June 2023 I had 97 Franchise and Independent Dealers with Volume averaging around $25 million per month, but as high as $30 Million. I was responsible for monthly dealer visits all over the state, training dealers on our program and proper paperwork, as well as loan volume growth. I kept a detailed monthly schedule and kept dealers up to date with any program changes as well as did monthly market comparison reports on rate, LTV guidelines, and reserve. I would also do the monthly and quarterly Cox Automotive webinars to stay up on national buying trends and predictions, to gauge the market and help dealers. I also at times assisted Dealers and Underwriters on restructuring of loans and would relook at turndown applications for dealers to see if there was a deal possible. Being a team player for Dealers as well as my UKFCU Indirect team has led to very successful dealership relationships as well as massive loan growth.
