Advised Robert Rauschenberg on matters relating to exhibitions and art placement in museums. Maintained scholarship for an art collection of approximately 15,000 objects dating from the Paleolithic to the modern era with emphasis on twentieth-century art. Curatorial duties encompassed initiating special exhibition projects, including selecting art works, negotiating loans, developing budgets, writing grants, designing installations, serving as managing editor for catalogues, and presenting public programs.
