I started my career with a Communications degree; I majored in Advertising and minored in Business. I decided after working full time through college that I needed a "stable" career and headed to a company opening a service center in my town. I worked in insurance marketing for thirteen years but wanted to get back to my passion for advertising. I opted for Southern Progress Corporation in Birmingham and have been fortunate to work for some great media companies. I found that the words in the ads themselves were of more interest to me. I can make any content better—more engaging, more appropriate for the audience—and without errors!
