I am an advocate for children and was previously employed for 20+ years as an administrative assistant which followed a short five-year career in radio that included sales, traffic and continuity, and on-air work in mid to large markets. I am currently working as a special education specialist. I enjoy working with people of all kinds. Although I've been out of the office for a while, I make an effort to stay up-to-date on computer technology. I also take on projects that involve word processing and desktop publishing just for fun. I've been accused of being a professional volunteer and do my part to step up, get involved, and be a part of a solution as opposed to complaining about what is broken. I enjoy a challenge that helps me grow into something better and am open to opportunities that will keep me moving forward. While I believe in working hard, I also believe in the balance of playing hard as well and enjoy things like hiking and being outdoors, watching sporting events, listening to music, and just hanging out with the awesome people in my life.
