While I was in school, I started my own clothing brand called "Sloth Clothing Co." which I was able to grow while continuing my education. I was able to take my business to Dallas Market, where I sold my brand to boutiques in Texas, Louisiana, Kansas, and Oklahoma. I also built my own website where I marketed the brand on Instagram, Facebook, and Tik Tok and was able to my products to 49 states.

While working for TCG I learned a valuable skill of sales. The job entailed selling flowers, Teddy bears, lai’s, and T-shirts at graduations around the United States. There were many graduations in a single day so I learned how to work long hours on my feet, and how to maintain a positive and friendly customer service attitude even while tired. I learned how to talk to many customers at one time while remembering orders and packing up the gifts for their graduate. I learned about presentation of items and how to properly sell and talk customers into purchasing other items.This was only a part time job during the graduation season.

While working at April Plaza Marina, I learned essential qualities, such as customer service, when checking customers out at our store. Also, this company rented out slips to keep boats docked for a monthly fee. This allowed me to remember customer's names to pull their files much quicker and make them feel remembered. Lastly, we rented out boats. At this position, I had to teach all skill levels of drivers how to drive this certain boat. This taught me customer patience and how to deal with people with zero knowledge and people with more knowledge than me.
