Developed the first human computer interaction and user-experience learnership course with the third largest bank in South Africa. This includes developing curriculum, guiding the roll-out with their service provider and iterating the design to tailor the best learning experience. I have also provided Spot On and their clients strategic market advice and insight, as well as recruitment assistance.

My lecturing responsibilities during this time included the content design, development, presentation of the curriculum of the following subjects (Business Informatics 1, Business Informatics 2 A, Business Informatics 2 B, Business Informatics 3 A, Business Informatics 3 B, Human-computer interaction IV, and Research in Information Technology). The subjects were presented predominately online using the SAKAI educational content management system.I frequently provided individual tutorial session when requested by my students. My administrative duties included: management of the Usability/ UX Lab, the design and development of the work allocation policy, organising the redesign and development of the Diploma in Information technology, evaluating the current quality of degrees and diplomas while at the same time determining the feasibility of obtaining accreditation from the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (USA) and British Computer Science (UK).My community engagement projected resulted in the Google Chromebook Initiative, where I spearheaded and connected with Google to pilot Google Chromebook's. A first for Africa and South Africa, as a potential solution to low cost high-impact computing creating greater mobility and access.
