I trained as a Chef at a leading West End hotel in the 1970s, then gained experience in a range of catering disciplines; from well known celebrity restaurants through to high volume race courses. In the 1980s, I joined a major contract catering organisation, rising through the ranks to Operations Manager over seven years.For the past eight years I've performed Director level posts for various catering organisations in the contract catering, facilities services and commercial catering sectors.My new ventures include The Venue Swindon. Diverse and interesting rooms make ‘The Venue Swindon’ one of the areas' most versatile conference and events facilities. The rooms can accommodate AGM's, conferences, board meetings, gala dinners, product launches, cocktail receptions and awards ceremonies for between 8 and 350 guests. ‘The Venue Gloucester Docks’ Situated in the heart of the regenerated Docks, with dramatic views of the canal, this characteristic and charming venue offers a unique setting for both private and corporate events.We also have 'The Venue Cirencester' again for corporate hospitality.2 Coots cafe bar's in the South West for snacks and outside catering.Plus, we have taken over 'The GW'; the large Arkell's hotel, restaurant and bar opposite Swindon's Train Station. We have already undergone major refurbishment and have received awards for our rooms and beers!
