I have been an executive in the employee benefits and insurance industry for nearly 25 years. I co-founded Vertical Fox with the goal of removing billions of dollars of waste from the benefits procurement processes. Vertical Fox’s proprietary technology platform facilitates a paperless brokerage experience for employee benefit brokers and employers in the middle market. Our platform provides employers and brokers with faster results, more powerful insights and lower costs. The paradigm we created utilizes real time analytical tools allowing brokers to operate more efficiently and employers to make more informed, faster decisions with lower procurement costs and fees.I began my career with MetLife and moved to a health benefits spinoff which was then sold to United Healthcare. I later moved to the employee benefits brokerage side and managed accounts for companies with thousands of employees.In 1997 I joined C&B Consulting. At C&B I advanced to heading the client services division and ultimately became an equity partner. After selling to Arthur J. Gallagher in 2007, our branch consistently had the highest customer retention rate in the country at over 98%. As a result, I was promoted to run the service deliverables for the entire New York metro region. Working on all sides of the business has given me the ability to identify client issues and develop creative solutions.I served on the insurance carrier advisory boards of Cigna, Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, MetLife and United Healthcare. Here I provided feedback to and gained insight from leaders from the nation’s top insurers.I enjoy outdoor activities, martial arts and adventure travel. I live in Smithtown, NY and have 3 children. Each year we visit national parks and go whitewater rafting, hiking and biking. I also coach my children’s basketball teams.
