Junior Mechanical Engineering Student at Umass Lowell. Mechanical Engineering Intern at Brooks automation. Working with robotics design and production engineering, testing and verification. Primarily focused in concept design work for a universal tuning end effector. Ground up design using CREO and structural + frequency analysis using ANSYS. This solution greatly increases tuning efficiency of wafer handling robots and cuts down on End Effector surplus and potential breakages.Worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at AS&E / OSI Systems in Billerica MA. Worked with continuous improvement and made critical design updates to fix design problems happening in the field. Practiced Lean Manufacturing techniques to redesign a critical watertight gasket for a sensor array from a multipiece to a continuous form in place design. Redesigned a translation stage that is used to take sensitive doseage measurements from X-Ray systems.Involved with Umass Lowell's Formula Student team, currently Chief Engineer for the 24-25 season. Leading all engineering subteams and overall design and development of Umass Lowell's Formula SAE race car. Facilitating day to day Logistics and meetings. Aiding in design for all subteams and components.Experienced in working hands on with mechanical assemblies and component manufacturing. Completed a frame up automotive restoration on my 1999 Jeep TJ that I now drive plus, ground up part development for Formula SAE. Skills include TIG+MIG welding and basic machining techniques.
