As part of the NHS Mobile Testing Unit's regional management team for the East of Scotland in response to the pandemic, my responsibilities extended to:• Management of 12 teams, approximately 140 staff including logistics operatives• Develop and plan next day deployments considering staffing level, staff capabilities and equipment states• Regional absence monitoring • Conduct and document return to work, absence and conduct meetings• Manage complaints, RIDDORs and staff wellbeing• Occupational Health referrals• Shortlist, plan and conduct recruitment interviews• Review and submit staff public holiday claims and annual leave• Site visits throughout the East of Scotland• Liase with local communities ensuring cooperation with the Mobile Testing Unit• Complete termination of contract forms• Implement staff personal development plans Achievements: • Planned, executed and managed the deployment of a regional training week for approximately 180 new starts during the first winter of the pandemic • Developed and implemented national processes for identifying staff availability enabling regional deployments of testing teams • Organised C-19 vaccinations for the entire regional staff base
