I was a development coach at the Yarra Junior Football League. This role saw me undertake various responsibilities, most poignantly in the U14 Interleague program. In 2023, I was assigned the role of Head Coach of the YJFL Division 2 team in the AFL Victoria Metro Junior Championships. Under my tutelage, and with the support of the program’s head coach, a number of kids had the opportunity to develop their skills, make new friends and gain access to higher level football knowledge to help them in matches against various other leagues.In doing this role, I demonstrated my nous for talent identification, statistical analysis as well as being able to inculcate sound training regimes for the boys within the program so as to maximise their development and performance. This was ultimately highlighted with being granted the responsibility to coach a combined Division 1 and Division 2 YJFL team against the Mornington Peninsula Junior Football League where we emerged as convincing victors.

I was in charge of co-ordinating all of the media at Port Melbourne Sharks. This included running the social media platforms associated with the club as well as organising interviews for players and staff with external organisations. As such, this role requires me to have a sound knowledge of graphic design, social media production and general media skills.The primary purpose of my role was to give exposure to the club, its players and staff by painting the club in a good public light. I was also required to cover matches for the club and maintaining good relationships with all key stakeholders involved in the running of the club.

I was the head squad coach of the Under 13 program at South Melbourne Districts Junior Football Club in 2023. This involved me overseeing the training sessions for this group of kids while also being in charge of the U13 Division 1 team.In this role, I formed positive relationships with the boys to encourage development, enjoyment and a love for the game. This coincided with a successful season results-wise in which I took the team from Division 2 to booking a place in finals in Division 1, defeating all but one of the teams in the competition en route to this achievement.

This role involves writing player profiles on promising young footballers across the globe. I provide in depth evaluations of various players' strengths and weaknesses, using data to aid my analysis while equally detailing players' future prospects.

Kick360 was a startup journalistic venture which aimed to be the home of football journalism in Australia. Alongside numerous other contributors, my role at Kick360 was to produce quality writing on a freelance basis with most of my work focused on the A-League and Australian national teams.My job involved but was not limited to:- Writing articles to be published on site- Sub-editing the work of fellow contributors - Teaming up with other writers to produce quality content- Attending and asking questions at official media conferences- Interviewing individuals in the industry for feature articles- Ensuring my work gained traction via various social media platforms including Twitter

I am the current coach of a Year 7B Aussie Rules Football team at St Kevin's College in the APS.In this role, I am tasked with assisting individuals to become the best version of themselves in the sporting arena while also grading players based on ability and helping with the selection of the teams. I run drills that are targeted towards improving specific areas of my players' skillsets while ensuring that each player enjoys training and being a part of a group.On top of the actual coaching, I also remain on top of the admin work that goes into preparing a team, including staying on top of emails and being active on our team's portal page. In the 2022 APS season, my team recorded the best win/loss ratio in SKC Footy (eight wins, one loss), and my development-focused model was evidenced in eight boys being promoted to the A team throughout the season.

My role involves working at the college for four days per week, primarily with Year 7 students who face difficulties with unlocking their full potential in the classroom. This includes - but is not limited to - working with kids who have intellectual and/or social disabilities which hinder their ability to work efficiently in a classroom environment. To this end, my role is to support the learning endeavours of these students in the classroom by providing them with individually tailored feedback pertaining to assignments, organisational skills and class work. On top of attempting to instil these skills within their studies, part of my role also includes acting as a mentor for those who struggle with social interactions outside of the classroom. This is particularly evident in the additional support I provide for Indigenous students who are placed at St Kevin's College as part of Melbourne's Indigenous Transition School (MITS). In this sense, my role is, at times, equally one of mentorship as it is one of teaching.Ultimately, on top of the above, the role as a Learning Support Officer includes but is not limited to:- Creating personalised learning plans to assist with students suffering from learning difficulties in the classroom (including ADHD, ASD and dyslexia)- Liaising with colleagues (including classroom teachers and fellow LSOs) to decide upon the best way to manage and monitor students- Recording adjustments via a centralised platform- Offering educational support across a wide range of subjects including Mathematics, English and Science

I assisted the learning of school students from Year 7 to Year 12 in the fields of English, Mathematics and French. I spent time supervising students in both the Library and the Study Centre with the purpose of encouraging a greater work ethic among students whilst using my expertise to generate better scores across the cohort.

Bay 13 Sports was a sports journalism website created and led by Thomas Williams. In 2019, Thomas combined his two passions - writing and sports, to create a site entirely dedicated to unbiased sports journalism. As of 2021, Bay 13 Sports is a Google AdSense certified website with over 400,000 page views.As Owner and Chief Editor, Thomas was responsible for editing articles written by members of the public as well as writing articles for the site. Additionally, Thomas' role at Bay 13 Sports ensured that he must:- Market the site effectively to target audiences- Comply with Google AdSense criteria- Report sports news informatively- Write objective and fact-based opinion pieces- Encourage others to contribute to the site- Take photos at various sporting events
