Thomas Brian Rose is CEO of Thomas Center (www.thomascenter.com), a management company he founded and has been building since 1994. Tom’s unique approach is founded on the principle of disciplinary collaboration with specialists from individual fields of expertise coming together and serving the client in a holistic and integrated way. Tom’s unique contribution has been to surround owners, presidents and CEO’s of emerging brands with resources needed to build their brand. Tom’s surgical approach includes nine distinct divisions.Prior to founding Thomas Center in 1994, Tom owned a mortgage company, American Mutual, located in Lynnwood, Washington. The firm grew to over 60 employees and three branches in less than two years (not recommended). For most of the 80’s, Tom managed a Financial Services Branch specializing in Commercial, Retail and Residential lending for a subsidiary of Gulf & Western Oil Company.Tom describes himself as the Rick Ruben of entrepreneurship. Tom’s super casual appearance and demeanor reflect the distressed and wasted elegance vibe he’s appreciated in music, film and literature (see band The Rolling Stones, film Two Lane Blacktop, book Cannery Row). Tom goes on to describe himself as an introvert, minimalist, audiophile and business scientist. Tom defines success as “doing what brings you joy regardless of the outcome.” He goes on to say, “plenty of people fail doing work they hate, why not risk failure at doing what you love.”Tom recently launched Ramble Tamble Entertainment, focusing on music and film projects.Tom is a native of Washington State. He was raised in the Hoodsport area of Shelton and currently works from Bainbridge Island. When he is not engaged in helping companies establish and leverage a strong brand, Tom enjoys keeping up to date with his five adult children; reading, attending live music events, listening to music at home, playing drums and tinkering with his guitar.
