Executive Support Officer
Current• Provide high quality executive support to the CEO including diary management, organising high level meetings and appointments and coordinating complex and sensitive correspondence in a confidential manner.• Provide professional and efficient secretariat support to the Chair and the Board including coordinating meeting arrangements, calendar management, supporting meetings including preparation of briefing papers, minute taking. Board attendance summaries and payments and other supporting duties.• Build and maintain effective working relationships within Government and with external stakeholders as the primary action officer coordinating, drafting and lodging various ministerial correspondence, responses to parliamentary documentation, Ministerial updates, reports and other executive and significant correspondence.• Coordinating Right to Information (RTI) applications by collating information, preparing documents, liaising and negotiating with applicants seeking information, consulting relevant stakeholders, engaging and briefing external legal professionals if necessary.• Identify and take appropriate action in response to stakeholder enquiries, including monitoring and following up of responses by other officers on behalf of the CEO in line with established customer service standards.• Identify emerging issues and trends that may impact the GCWA and escalate concerns to the appropriate office and/or the CEO.
