I drew cartoons published by the Argus Leader for its opinion and sports pages. I was the paid contributing political cartoonist for the Argus Leader from Sept. 1992 to Nov. 1998. I was the paid contributing sports cartoonist for the Argus Leader from Feb. 2008- Feb. 2009.

I processed Master Card and Visa credit card customers' requests for credit line increases and account reopenings by reviewing the customers' Equifax, Experion, and TransUnion credit reports in addition to their payment histories with BankFirst. I also processed consumer dispute verifications via E-Oscar. In addition to processing various in-bank reports, I also was assigned to review charged-off accounts for reopening under the bank's second chance program. Before working as a credit analyst from June 1999 to April 2003, I worked in the correspondence department and in the New Customer Center, where I processed pre-approved applications in an in-bound call center.

I processed applications for department store credit cards by reviewing the applicants' credit bureau reports online. Retailers National Bank processed applications for department store cards at Target, Mervyn's, Dayton's, Hudson's, and Marshall Field's.

I reported on high school and collegiate sports in the Black Hills area. I covered high school football, high school boys' and girls' basketball, college football, collegiate men's and women's basketball, high school wrestling, amateur boxing, and stock car racing. I typed in statistics received from Black Hills area coaches of football and basketball. As an obituary writer, I wrote obituaries based on information received from funeral homes and families of the deceased. I also sold "Memorial" obituaries, by the column inch, on articles more than five column inches in length. The Journal also published my political cartoons occasionally from 1988-91.
