Managed and directly led more than 45 acquisitions and 5 divestitures including LinkedIn, Volometrix, Maluuba, Semantic Machines, Bonsai and Github as well as the sale of Microsoft’s feature phone business to FoxConn.• Utilized a broad range of integration approaches to maximize business results for acquired companies based on size, global footprint, technology, business need and business model.• Drove best in class integration approaches across various functional teams to ensure rapid integration of Engineering, Sales, Finance, Legal and Operations employees for acquired companies of all sizes.• Partnered with Product Engineering, Sales, Finance and Marketing teams to deliver a comprehensive post-merger go-to-market strategy and plan that accelerated growth and ensured customer excitement for the deal.• Led integration of all acquired company’s financials into Microsoft’s reporting, ensuring compliance to SOX and GAAP standards. Developed both short- and long-term management reporting processes for acquired companies.• Developed change management and communications plan for acquired employees with a special emphasis on acquired leadership. Worked closely with engineering teams to create deal-specific on-boarding sessions, talent assessment and long term workforce planning to maximize retention and minimize disruption post-acquisition.• Improved deal success rate over three years - more than 85% of these deals were "successful". Played a key advisory role on Microsoft’s largest and most successful acquisitions to date including LinkedIn and GitHub.

His responsibilities included: strategic sourcing, category management, vendor management and procurement professional training and development for procurement staff in more than 40 countries. His team is also accountable for Microsoft’s procurement governance and process controls as well as Supplier diversity and vendor business development.
