As the Workstation Services Branch Chief for the Division of Technology and Network Management I oversee the branch activities including planning, execution and value of IT Portfolio investments. I manage large teams of internal and external resources for multitier projects affecting the entire agency of over 4000 clients. This includes managing hardware and software deployments agency wide. I am responsible for adherence to all program office and management processes, establishing working relationships across the agency, and successful collaboration on large scale projects. I am responsible of overseeing a staff of twenty including two management section chiefs, budget and resource allocation, project prioritization, contract staff oversight and resource management. Recent projects include agency PIV Card deployment, Active Client deployment, BIGFIX deployment/management and Windows 10 deployment testing and planning, IPhone mobile device deployment/management and complete agency wide workstation hardware replacment.

Oversee the complete process of configuration management providing guidance and direction to ensure all processes are completed and documented adhering to proper procedures. Ensure that the steps in the system development process are completed in the proper order and that all sign-offs are completed. Oversee all network administration staff for both Microsoft and UNIX administration and work to develop plans and strategies for implementing changes and report progress to upper management.Manage a mixed staff of 8 Federal workers and contractors and oversee their daily activities.

Provided senior Microsoft LAN\WAN engineering support for planning, testing, implementing and maintaining National and Regional offices for an environment that included 40 servers and over 550 users. Acted as the Network Security Officer overseeing office network security and security changes during my tenure.
