Hi. I am an executive in the human services industry. Key strengths include thoughtful leadership, creative thinking, cross cultural facilitation and culture revitalisation. (Culture eats strategy for breakfast... is one of my favourite quotes). Formal qualifications include a BA with a double major in sociology and community development.I have enjoyed a wonderful career that has given me opportunity to work in a range of settings, including government (state and local), and non government agencies and organisations. I have also been fortunate to work alongside Aboriginal people in a range of contexts and enjoyed studying Nyoongar language for several years. I have instigated and supported several regional, multi stakeholder projects and enjoy building highly effective teams, whether regionally or organisationally. I have learned a great deal from serving on a number of committees and boards including: Peel Community Development Group, Peel Domestic Violence Action Group, Cultural Corridors Perth, Winjan Aboriginal Corporation, Peel Says No to Violence Project, Bendigo Bank and the Centre for Social Impact.
