Serve in this position through the Cox Research Scholars Program, a highly selective program that partners undergraduates with faculty mentors in their areas of research interest. Work with IU faculty in the media school on several environmental communications research projects. Assist in qualitative coding of survey responses, organizing data, and gathering background research material. Co-author of a published article discussing hope and climate change engagement, where I sorted through over 1700 articles that were included in the final review. Lead a rewrite of a manuscript examining opinions, attitudes, and demographics of a subset of climate change deniers who are more likely to support policy responses than those who more strongly endorse climate change misinformation.

Draft email newsletters for three Senators to over 20,000 constituents. Photograph members during Session and Committees. Create social media posts across Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram reaching thousands of accounts on behalf of members. Write press releases for members to promote policy goals and political brands.

Collaborated with course professor for Communicating Climate Change class to develop readings and assignments. Graded course assignments twice a week.

Assisted with a variety of administrative tasks for the Researching and Teaching Preserve--including managing the Preserve's email inbox, developing and updating brochures for public facing sections of the preserves, managing data in excel on ongoing research and courses taught on preserve property, developing Qualtrics surveys to track research and field activities, and updating powerpoint slideshows for use by the Property Manager.

Planned and hosted a campaign launch party event that raised $400 and had over 40 attendees, drafted and edited policy and communication statements for campaign literature and media channels, maintained campaign website to increase public engagement and promote campaign messaging, organized community canvassing with volunteers through VoteBuilder and MiniVAN to deepen community relationships that registered 200 students to vote

Worked as a salesperson at a major national clothing chain. Was regularly located in the front section of the store, a location designated for top associates who are known for a warm demeanor and excellent communication and sales skills. Handled register transactions, some floor stocking, and floor set setup. Coordinated with other sales associates to engage in team selling to maximize customer experience.

Worked as a bagging clerk, assisting in customer service interactions while maintaining a cleanly front-of-store atmosphere. Regularly helped stock supplies, handle take-back items, and went above and beyond to run store pickup orders to awaiting customers, a task specifically delegated to me from front-of-store management.
