- Control the AAU Junior Olympic Games, which brings anywhere between $50 - $80 Million in economic impact to the local city.- Manage relationships with Local Organizing Committee and Convention and Visitors Bureau for our four host cities - Develop, promote and execute multiple events per year at facilities across the nation including ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, ranging from 500 to 18,000 participants, the largest being the historic AAU Junior Olympic Games- Create and monitor eight sport program budgets varying from $250,000 - $1,000,000 yearly.- Prepare contracts and licensing for vendors, cities, partners, and event operators. - Plan and execute multiple activations though our partners (READY Nutrition, Captain U, NCSA and Local CVB).- Analyze market data in order to effectively strategize how to grow our programs and events.- Solicit and negotiate multiple bids and or invoices for vendors and event services.- Work with various software to build venue and event layouts/competition spaces. -Manage all facets of multiple sport programs including at the national headquarters: AAU Football, Hockey, Baseball and Softball, overseeing more than 100,000 members combined, increasing membership by an average of 8% each year.- Draw up contracts with local hotels for rooming blocks. - Assisted in the facilitation of Track and Wrestling National Championships varying from 1,000 – 5,000 participants.- Serve as the primary liaison for cross-team functionality between internal departments (marketing, sponsorship) and event hosts, volunteers, and sport National Chairs. - Execute multiple activations though our partners (Gatorade, Nationwide Insurance, Eastbay and others)- Direct supervision of a Sport Coordinator, multiple event and sport volunteers and National Office summer interns.
