Tim Ware is a 2016 Presidential Leadership Scholar and seasoned leader who has spent nearly twenty-five years managing programs and guiding organizations committed to equipping others, primarily Black youth, with the skills and tools needed to live a life of purpose and destiny. He has consistently achieved significant, sector-leading outcomes for key stakeholders. The most meaningful of these outcomes are the successes experienced by the youth who are able to access high-quality education, experiences and exposure in the programs Tim has created or led. Tim has achieved exceptional success in multiple contexts, such as designing and delivering grassroots community youth programming, building and overseeing neighborhood based wraparound services for a hospital system, founding and leading one of the state’s highest performing urban public charter schools, serving as regional Executive Director for a national non-profit, and overseeing the turnaround of chronically under-performing schools for the department of education. Tim Ware is currently the Executive Director of Memphis Grizzlies Prep, an all-boys’ public charter school affiliated with the Memphis Grizzlies and is founding a sister school to operate under the same NBA franchise partnership.Tim's leadership as a board member has been instrumental to numerous non-profit organizations. He continues to shape and influence key decisions, and National Advisory Boards regularly seek his insight and experience.Ware holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cedarville University and studied Corporate Governance at Columbia University.
