  • Responsible for valuation of investment-grade commercial real estate, property tax appeals, and property tax litigation on a national basis. Personally responsible for the review of over 1.8 billion in assessed value of commercial real estate. • Perform detailed valuation and analysis for all classes of commercial property. Evaluate the performance and condition of each property in the context of the local submarket to determine the most aggressive and effective posture for appeal. • Present property tax appeals before area assessors and various boards of appeal. Successfully won appeals and negotiated settlements with assessment officials that resulted in millions of dollars in tax savings over my career. • Prepare protest packages for litigation and assist in litigation support by attending settlement conferences and mediation hearings as client representation.• Prepare arbitration packages and attend arbitrations in person and via zoom.• Manage and provide client service to local and national commercial portfolio owners. • Actively engage in business development to expand client roster and increase firm revenue.
