My parents, particularly my mother - a nurse and midwife - set a profound example for me and my sister about helping those who need assistance/support. This formative value around helping others, where you have something to give, is the reason I love and get so much from my career in talent and leadership transformation. It keeps me grounded in the fact that all leaders are human beings first and that development and transformation happens at the behavioural level. In working with Korn Ferry’s global accounts across EMEA, APAC and NA, including Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 companies, I help our clients to link talent potential with organisational strategy. I focus on asking the question, talent for what? I help them assess and identify the right talent for their specific strategic and operational context and then design and deliver, as a master facilitator, executive leadership interventions that bring their potential to life in real time.I work with senior leadership teams on their performance as a team, and on their effectiveness through individual team members. Executive coaching is the third arm of my practice where I coach senior executives in their career transitions, leadership transformation and specifically succession/progression to enterprise leadership roles. At Korn Ferry, I lead global client relationships as well as direct international consulting teams on L&T and commercial client initiatives at global scale. I am a member of the coaching and development faculties of some of our major international clients and have been the consulting and advisory leader for Ireland. I have spoken at leadership conferences and forums, interviewed global CEOs and had the pleasure of working with an international rugby team and provincial rugby coaches. I am also a fellow and former board member of the Institute of Management Consultants & Advisors (Ireland).I am married with two teenage sons and a COVID inspired CavaDoodle. I’m proud of being from Munster (Ireland) and have a passion for Munster Rugby.
