I manage the comms and media team at Forest Peoples Programme, coordinating our communication and media outputs with project teams and partners in >50 countries. I am an active member of several communication networks, including the UN CBD Biodiversity Communications Working Group, investigating best practice communication strategies for global biodiversity conservation. Forest Peoples Programme work alongside indigenous forest peoples to help them fight for their human rights, and defend their ancestral homes.

I provided internal communication leadership across the Oxfam International Confederation, and coordinated the team of Humanitarian Appeals Specialists to ensure that Oxfam was fully prepared to mobilise fundraising support to respond to major humanitarian crises around the world. I developed the global communication strategy for The Cash Learning Partnership (CaLP), a global partnership of humanitarian actors engaged in policy, practice, and research within cash transfer programming (CTP). I worked with CaLP's partners, members, and the wider humanitarian sector to bring together the conversation on CTP, and create cohesive best-practice messaging on the value of specific humanitarian interventions during emergency situations. CaLP is made up of a community of practice including over 150 organisations and more than 5,000 individuals in the humanitarian sector. CaLP's vision is based on learning, knowledge sharing, networking and coordination around the appropriate and timely use of CTP in humanitarian response.
