When I arrived, Crown was spending 65 cents to raise a dollar. I reduced the expense ratio to 20 cents on the dollar by engaging more donors at higher levels with fewer employees. • Crown's pipeline of donors was initially weak. I closed first time gifts up to $50K each and secured estate gifts up to $1M by listening and speaking to people’s interests. • I generated an additional $1M/year enrollment revenue by speaking in high schools around the country and recruiting top prospects.
