Tata Elxsi Ltd is a global strategic design consultancy with around 4,000 employees and services ranging from User Research, Service Design, Industrial Design, UI / UX and Graphic Design to Hardware and Software Engineering.Working with the Design Director, I help develop appropriate and compelling Industrial Design solutions, co-ordinating various off-shore teams in India to compliment the services of our UK Studio. I follow a research based, user-centred design process, drawing insights from primary and secondary sources to advise design and business strategy. Based on these learning I ideate, sketch prototype and test iteratively allowing for rapid concept development and validation. I encourage client / user input and collaboration throughout the process, taking the opportunity to organise brainstorming and co-creation events where possible.

Industrial Design development from research to concept generation, prototyping, testing, branding and concept presentation. Prototypes were developed as visual mockups or engineering POC's including electromechanical systems. Projects covered a wide range of categories including consumer product, medical, packaging and FMCG.

New Store Europe is a multinational organisation that specialises in delivering market leading retail design, project management and installation services to some of the biggest retailers in Europe.As a Concept Designer I focused on New Product Development, designing POS units, retail furniture and interior design solutions. Working within the Concept team I helped take projects from initial client brief through to dimensionally accurate Solidworks models. This process included research, sketch concept generation and Solidworks modelling with Photoview render for client presentation. I then worked with engineers to prototype and manufacture the concept, ensuring design intent was carried through to finished product.

Loughborough University is widely regarded as one of the best Industrial Design Universities in the UK and this reputation has now been cemented with a beautiful brand new building. The building creates a creative and professional environment, ideally suited to innovative product development. I hope to follow in the footsteps of previous graduates who have gone to work for the likes of DCA and Ross Lovegrove.
