Responsible for leading multi-year national fundraising strategy to diversify the funding base and grow investment size and duration to strengthen organizational future financial viability. Manage revenue generation from a mixed portfolio of corporations, government, individuals and foundations including a personal portfolio of major gift prospects and donor pipeline. Increase and diversify funding streams (e.g., Giving Catalogue, community appeals, Tribute Giving, Legacy and Planned Giving etc.) to ensure financial stability for the organization and deepen the prospect pool. Creatively leverage opportunities to financially support increased demand for programming in rural, underserved, northern and Indigenous communities.Actively participate in the management of Let’s Talk Science and its programs, including participating on key committees and bringing forward issues for prioritization, discussion and decision. Provide leadership to mobilize staff and volunteers to create a culture of philanthropy.Oversee all activities of eight member Fund Development team, including planning, management of donor pipeline, cultivation and stewardship initiatives, annual operating budget, and staffing.

Responsible for redesigning and developing an effective Gratitude Giving strategy during the 50th Anniversary to focus on alumni giving in support of multiple campuses and their diverse needs.Through collaboration with faculty and staff with the Faculty of Art, Media and Design, portfolio needs include supporting growth and management of the scholarship program, mentorship of students and faculty, and securing donations for capstone and faculty-initiated projects.Augmentation of Raiser’s Edge and NXT required to maximize functionality for donor prospecting and stewardship as it pertains to portfolio.Identify and create prospecting strategy to execute for enhanced engagement and financial growth.

Responsible for managing operations of The Lambton College Foundation and Alumni Association by planning, developing and directing the implementation of two five year strategic plans, goals and objectives in accordance with revenue budgets of over $1M.- Minimized expenses to 15-20% ratio and established a balanced Alumni budget. Key objectives included assessing economic environments to leverage partnerships, identification of fundraising opportunities, prospect research and proposal writing, development of appropriate marketing and promotional strategies for engagement projects, provide leadership for activities of the Foundation and Alumni Association including two capital campaigns. - Raised in excess of $8M through capital campaigns, donor cultivation and stewardship, special events, annual campaigns, scholarships and community support.- Consistently exceeded annual goals with significant net revenue increases such as Corks, Caps & Cuisine 438% and scholarship program 123%.Responsible for managing Alumni development activities to ensure annual benchmarks, initiatives and performance goals were achieved. Key objectives included creation of strategies to increase engagement and foster growth of Alumni Association membership.- Developed Advantage Card to provide benefits to graduates and create new partnerships.- Produced marketing materials and communication publications including The Alumni Advisor newsletter, videos, website and social media. Facebook likes had an increase of 1,548%.

Started the organization and managed the development of client programs, fundraising initiatives, volunteer recruitment and partnership opportunities. Developed strategic and communication plans to support financial needs, heighten community awareness and implemented capital campaign. Advocated in support of palliative care and the need for residential services.- Launched capital campaign with $1M gift.

Responsible for Southwestern Ontario fundraising development, coordinated and supported special events, recruited volunteers, developed strategic plans and managed budgets. - Raised $5.3+M by achieving fundraising goals including Fire Fighter campaigns (increased revenue from $150K to $500+K), special events, Chapter initiatives, annual campaigns, telethon pledge centres, corporations, service clubs, community groups and Foundations.Provided leadership for national Fire Fighter programs and development of best practices for Fire Fighter stewardship and recognition as a result of Southwestern Ontario fundraising success.- As Ontario Fire Fighter Lead, recognized for developing provincial strategy: facilitated long-term team visioning; advocated for change in provincial legislation; mentored peers in other regions; developed enhanced relationships with provincial and international Fire Fighter Unions/Associations. Ontario Professional Fire Fighters Association honoured achievement with a special recognition of service and presentation of leather helmet.
