Research Coordinator
CurrentRCP is a grassroots organization working with refugee and migrant communities across central North Carolina. We are made up of 1,200+ RCP Members from all over the globe, rebuilding home here. These community-based research projects focus on democratizing healthcare provision, and ensuring that refugees and migrants have access to quality care. Research Coordinator Responsibilities:-Manage all aspects of a mixed methods study evaluating language access for LEP patients in local healthcare systems -Set up, clean, and manage data systems for RCP’s healthcare program and current research studies-Conduct analysis of datasets, translating findings into various mediums for communication/development needs -Develop and disseminate program performance reports, research analysis, and advocacy strategies -Presenting in a breakout session at the North Carolina Global Health Alliance Conference on refugee and migrant health in NC-Plan and execute focus groups and in-depth interviews in various languages with refugees and migrants on language access -Recruit and manage interns working on different projects concerning health research and advocacy
