About Troy Coleman

I believe we can create a workplace where creativity thrives, problems are solved with joy, and innovation becomes a natural outcome. Hi. I'm Troy. I am a creative leader and playful collaborator. I've had the privilege of working on a variety of products and brands, including Microsoft's billion-dollar franchise, Halo 3. From print and packaging design to cutting-edge web and mobile applications, my focus has always been on creating joyful user experiences.I believe in leading design teams through play – tapping into that childlike curiosity we all had growing up. I guide my designers to reclaim their play, encouraging vulnerability and embracing failure. And yes, Play-Doh and Mr. Sketch markers are essentials in our creative toolkit.Beyond the pixels and prototypes, I'm a proud parent of three amazing kiddos. They're in a perpetual state of creative exploration, keeping my design mojo alive. As a dad, my mission is to ensure they see the world through a creative lens and hold on to their playfulness, despite the world's attempts to dampen it.When I'm not in the design universe, you'll find me on two wheels. I used to race track and cyclocross, but now I simply ride for the joy and occasional suffering. The bike is my thinking cap, where I find clarity, creative solutions, and a moment of zen. Now, I'm on the lookout for a new team to play with. Ready for some creative collaboration and a touch of joy? Let's make design waves together!
