Current• Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning associates; following up on work results. • Responsible for management of inventory includes inventory controls, monthly inventory counts and spot-checks, re-orders, and working within budget guidelines. • Maintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.• Maintain store results by coaching and counseling associates.• Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.• Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.• Ensure availability of merchandise and services by submitting contracts; maintaining inventories.• Market merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; analyze operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.• Secure merchandise by implementing security systems and measures.• Ensure that retail operations meets hotel standards for a memorable guest experience with a keen focus on a well trained staff able to perfect the basics and beyond.• Place any necessary reorders in a timely fashion and follow up on any pending orders.• Ensure all new products are on the floor in a timely manner and that back stock is clearly organized in the storage room.• Actively provide MOD (Manager on Duty) responsibilities for Spa and Retail Outlets.• Assisting Spa Administrative Assistant with monthly professional inventories and re-orders.
