I am a seasoned mechanical engineer with experience in CAD design, prototyping, and product development. I am proficient in CAD software tools such as AutoDesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Solidworks, and OnShape and I am good at bringing concepts to life through precise technical drawings. My skills also include fabricating prototypes using both 3D printing and traditional machine shop tools, which allow me to iterate quickly on designs to test ideas in the real world.My skill set also includes proficiency in manufacturing processes such as casting, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly, as well as finite element analysis (FEA), quality control, and research and development (R&D). I have a solid foundation in computer skills, including Blender, Arduino programming, and knowledge of many open-source tools that I can use to tackle any engineering challenges.In addition to my technical skills, I have mentored junior engineers, leading them to succeed at the company, and I have contributed to the professional development of my colleagues.I worry about climate change and want to use my engineering skills to assist with the energy transition. I also believe in the potential of public transit and often think about ways to improve transit and bike infrastructure.
