I lead a team of ten acquisition professionals in support of the Department of State's Bureau of Information Resource Management, overseeing an annual portfolio of approximately $500 million in contracts.I develop and negotiate solicitations for awarding and administering complex, large-scale, highly visible long-term contracts. As a Team Lead, I communicate assignments to team members, set milestones and establish deadlines, and monitor group performance over all phases of the acquisition life cycle. I provide technical direction on highly complex and highly visible issues, as well as guidance on procurement strategy and execution to team members, upper management and other stakeholders.My responsibilities also include advising on management and personnel issues, as well as operational and long term planning for the Functional Bureau Support Branch in the Office of Acquisitions Management. I hold a Level III FAC-C unlimited contracting officer's warrant for commercial and non-commercial items. As a senior contracting officer I utilize all aspects of the FAR and DOSAR with a focus on Parts 7, 8, 12, 13, 15, 16 and 19. I also review other guidance including GAO decisions and Procurement Information Bulletins.

I handle and negotiate solicitations for awarding and administering multi-complex, large-scale, highly visible long-term contracts involving large amounts of appropriated funds. I hold a Level III Warrant of $50,000,000.00 for commercial and non-commercial items. In total, I have provided procurement support on design-build and design-bid-build construction projects for U.S. Missions in more than 30 countries.
