Passionate about using art and community engagement to foster social change, I am a visual artist and muralist with a diverse background in public health and community outreach. With a Master's in Public Health from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor's in Health Services Administration from San Jose State University, my career journey has been dedicated to improving lives and building resilient communities through creative expression and strategic program management.Currently, I am a Visual Artist & Muralist in California, where I conceptualize, design, and execute large-scale murals, installations, and fine art pieces. I lead community-engaged mural projects, mentor emerging artists, and facilitate workshops to involve local participants in the artistic process. My role includes social media management, digital content creation, website creation and maintenance, all while ensuring high craftsmanship in all projects.Previously, as the Director of Outreach & Programs at the Neighborhood Wellness Foundation, I oversaw programs addressing intergenerational trauma and poverty in Sacramento neighborhoods. My work involved conducting research, managing grants, and developing culturally appropriate educational and outreach materials. I built and maintained external partnerships, coordinated outreach events, and monitored program activities to ensure compliance and achieve goals.My experience extends to roles such as Community Outreach & Engagement Coordinator at UC Davis Health, Assistant Muralist with the City of Sacramento, and Clinical Research Coordinator at Sutter Health.
