I am Umer Saeed, an accomplished and internationally certified medical laboratory scientist with over seven years of extensive experience in the diagnostic industry. My career began at Shalamar Hospital, where I dedicated five years, including four years as a Senior Lab Technologist and one year as Assistant Lab Manager. During my tenure, I gained expertise across various laboratory departments, including Chemistry, Blood Bank, Microbiology, and Hematology.In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, I served as a front-line warrior at the Punjab Provincial Health Reference Lab. This role provided me with invaluable experience and the opportunity to undertake international training from the World Health Organization (WHO) in Biosafety and Biorisk Management. Additionally, I have completed several management courses related to laboratory quality management systems, including ISO 15189, ISO 9000, CHQP (PIQC), MSDS (PHC), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health.A significant milestone in my career was playing a crucial role in achieving ISO 15189 accreditation for the Shalamar Hospital Lab. Currently, I am contributing my expertise as the Assistant Lab Manager at Mughal Lab, one of Pakistan's leading laboratories. My comprehensive background in laboratory management, coupled with my commitment to quality and safety, positions me as a dedicated professional in the medical laboratory field.
