- Began work with a small team to directly engage unmanaged businesses (1-500 employees) and educational institutions across North America to build new customer relationships for Microsoft Stores while increasing sales and the number of Microsoft solution users produced by Stores- Partnered with internal stakeholders to drive the expansion and training of outbound sales teams, specializing in selling 1st party devices and cloud software, to all Microsoft Stores across North America, UK, & AU driving growth in customers engagement and acquisition in all geos- As we defined the foundation of the program and expansion of outbound sales operations to Microsoft Stores began, newly trained sales teams maintained an 8% opportunity conversion rate and 20% close rate in 2019- While scaling the program, connected with sales teams regularly to stay connected with the team’s feedback as well as offering sales skill coaching moments and advanced product knowledge- While Stores moved to remote operations following COVID-19, continued conducting training sessions to onboard the remaining 50 Stores to Outbound Sales and leading coaching sessions for existing team members. As a result of the new additions and investment in our current talent, the team connected with over 77k unique business customers and saw dramatic growth with a +150% growth in number of opportunities created and a +400% growth in number of sales closed- As the program expanded, worked to introduce and train on new 1st party tools such as Microsoft cloud phone systems and Dynamics 365 Sales tools that allowed for further streamlined workflow as well as provide teams with a live experience with the product they discuss with customers
