I assisted the General Counsel and two corporate attorneys in editing and finalizing contracts, spreadsheets, and court documents. My responsibilities also included scheduling meetings, keeping calendars, and screening calls. My work involved highly confidential information and situations. Key accomplishments include:• Researched Wisconsin, Iowa, and Federal District Court recording and filing requirements for continuing education credits and developed and documented the procedure to assure the attorney remains compliant and the process is transferable to the next assistant.• Within a very tight timeline, located, and ensured documents were fully executed, and uploaded all client contracts and corporate agreements to a highly secure on-line “Data Room” for viewing by potential buyers• Managed the inventorying of the Finance Department’s filing room in preparation for sale of the company – working with another person sent 70+ banker boxes off-site within two days.• Implemented SharePoint into the procurement process at RMT. Learned the software, created standardized forms for company-wide use, and coordinated training via webinar conferences to train the entire company and bring the site fully functional within two months.

I was responsible for retrieving information for internal and external customers. I managed electronic imaging of contracts, vital records and reports and maintained databases.. • Initiated conversion of contracts from microfiche to an electronic database (InMagic). Researched and prepared a successful equipment recommendation and business case, demonstrating improved accessibility and pay-back through cost savings within six months. • Within 3 months, with one other person, inventoried and moved over 500 boxes of information to off-site storage, and worked with staff to develop procedures to assure access, bringing the Milwaukee office into compliance with company records management guidelines.
