I am a seasoned communications professional with more than 10 years of professional experience in the industry. I conduct effective training sessions on cultural sensitivity and diversity; public speaking; mental processing, decision-making and interpersonal relations in translating or interpreting. My mission is to make sure that cross-cultural and cross-linguistic contacts between people lead to the best possible, fruitful results. I truly believe that language proficiency and sensitivity to cultural differences empowers people. I am a member of American Northwest Translators and Interpreters Society. My current research interests include building multilingual applications, translation and localization of eLearning content, the study of interpreting in medical settings, and distance learning effectiveness.
