I lead client teams to make sure that a high level of service is delivered to clients and I also visit clients in their offices. I work with other external service providers to deliver services to clients, for example SharePoint Online design and migration and providing 21 CFR part 11 validation of services. I work with clients who are hosted in private clouds and use Microsoft SaaS products and others who are hybrid between on premise and Azure IaaS. I also have clients who use AWS for standalone applications. Some of my clients have SSO from AAD to external SaaS applications. I work with clients and develop proposals around their IT business and strategic needs. This can include hardware infrastructure such as physical servers, networking equipment and storage, licensing and project work that we would carry out for the client if the project is agreed. It can also include cloud based IaaS and SaaS services. The solutions that are deployed are influenced by factors such as the client's budget and whether the specifications of the project have items that determine whether it would be preferable to use on premise or cloud based solutions or a hybrid of the two. It is also important to bear in mind any regulatory requirement the client needs to satisfy. During my time at Bridge Partners I have also worked to find selected solutions that have then been reused by other account managers throughout the business. I began working at Bridge Partners on the Service Desk, dealing with incoming emails and telephone calls, solving first line problems with clients on the phone and creating cases for further investigation. As well as providing support I also developed and deployed projects for clients to improve their IT infrastructures. I have also been involved in consultancy projects which have involved visiting customer sites across the country and speaking with people in a variety of positions and then producing a report (either written in Word or to be delivered in PowerPoint) describing the current picture of IT within the business and possible strategic routes for the client based upon the needs of users within the business. I worked with Windows Server 2008 R2 through to 2016 and Windows 7, 8/8.1,10 and macOS clients. I have experience in working with Active Directory, Exchange and Office 365 for user, group, distribution list and mailbox management. I have built laptops and virtual servers for clients and joined them to domains and setup software where necessary. As my role has expanded I have also installed and configured ESXi on physical servers and setup vCenter Server Appliances. During this time I have also become more proficient with Office 365, managing the services that my clients have used for email threat management. I also migrated one of my clients from using an on premise file server to using SharePoint online for their document storage and management.During this time one of my clients was purchased by a larger organisation and I worked with the gaining organisation's IT teams to facilitate the integration of my client’s data and network into the gaining organisation.
