  Spectrum Medical provides the most comprehensive, intuitive, Perfusion Safety System available, and it works hand-in-glove with the current Hospital IT Systems. Utilizing Spectrum's non-invasive blood monitoring systems and third-party data, accurate patient data events are captured. We provide the ability to query the captured data, evaluating parameters to determine how these relate to patient outcomes. Clinicians can set Best Practice Alerts using Evidence-based medicine, and have checklists pop up to help address possible complications that are identified, closing the loop to provide the most powerful SAFETY SYSTEM available. I also participate in the development of new Spectrum Medical products, including a truly modern Heart-Lung Machine with new safety features and an open, flexible design, a Heater-Cooler that uses NO WATER, more efficient centrifugal pump designs, superior coatings, advanced cannulae designs, and an oxygenator/ventilation system that removes all nitrogen Gaseous Micro-Emboli from the bypass circuit, while maintaining normal target PaO2 levels.
