With over 25 years experience in Manufacturing, New Technology Commissioning, Logistics and Resource Recovery I am currently Manager South East Region for Remondis Australia providing Waste and Resource Recovery solutions to Local Government and Illawarra Business. As a senior leader I am results driven and have achieved exceptional results year on year through contract management and perennial cost reduction.Commencing my career as a Metallurgist in BHP Port Kembla I worked in Operational and Technical roles in BOS and New Technology Electric Arc steel making. I eventually moved to Incitec were I was involved operationally in new technology batch processing, Spent Sulphuric Acid reclamation and Export Shipping. Broadening my experience by working for Multiserv/ Harsco Metals who operated four business contracts within BlueScope Steel Port Kembla (BSL) involving the logistics of mill services and processing plant operation, I managed the 4Mt pa Scrap Operation and assisted clients in value identification on a Global level. My success in these roles comes from my ability to lead teams in multi-site operations to achieve sales and business objectives coupled with my unique whole of business approach, redesigning and re-engineering processes and systems to improve performance, reduce costs and ensure compliance. My qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in Management (Professional practice) from Charles Sturt University and I am a certified Lean Six Sigma Green belt.
