After a diverse experience in High School with taking a wide variety of courses, I decided to dive straight into college. My years at ECPI University in Raleigh, NC were never wasted as it seemed every day brought me a new challenge to overcome. Each class tested my abilities to handle, diagnose and correct tasks ranging from simply setting up a Windows or Linux server, VOIP, full networks or whatever else they could throw at me and my teams.During the weekends though I never took a break from computers and networks as I began to help people and small town businesses with their own products. 9 times out of 10 it was either virus removal, system backup/reinstall and/or setting up new hardware.I believe even with all of the firewalls, incident response, log mgmt and white-listing solutions that training and education are among the most important components to security at work.My future is clear. To establish policy and procedure along with services within an organization to create an efficient and secure work environment.
