About Wayne Hanson

Wayne and his wife Lee Ann founded Kid-Kart, Inc. in 1989 which became the market leader in the US. Kid-Kart provided a number of models that provided proper positioning for children with moderate to very severe disabilities. Kid-Kart became the standard for seating kids with disabilities and after a number of years of phenomenal growth, Sunrise Medical acquired the company. Sunrise appointed Wayne as the Director of Product Development in their pediatric division where he served for 8 years until recently when he decided to participate in meeting the immense need in developing countries. Wayne and his wife Lee Ann founded ROC Wheels. in 1999 Wayne has since founded 2 innovative pediatric Mobility Companies. Wayne recently sold the company Xplore Mobility to Stealth Products. Wayne is the director of product development for pediatric products at Stealth Products. Wayne Hanson is the co-founder of ROC Wheels and is currently serving as a Director of the 'ROC The WORLD Project.'
