He was ordained by Perry Hall Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland and holds the senior designation, ACFRE, in fundraising from AFP. He is one of 100+ who hold the designation. He has written the “Grassroots Module” on major gifts for Greater Philadelphia Chapter of AFP. He wrote, “How to Raise Money for Your Non-Profit Ministry,” a PBU monograph. The Handbook For Church Fundraising is his most recent publication. He began his career with Plumstead School (1975 – 1986) as the school grew from 65 to 625 students and held five capital campaigns. Internationally he has consulted with Thames Christian College, London, England, Black Forest, Germany, ACSI Europe in Budapest, ACSI Asian in Jakarta and Surabaya, Indonesia, and The Richard Wurmbrand School in Romania.He has been a seminar presenter for: The Institutes for International Research (IIR), ACSI, MACSA, CMA, PBU, Biblical Seminary, AFP, CSA, Univest Foundation, The Center for Ministry Advancement, and Opal Financial Group.
