I am a senior leader with a proven track record in transforming agencies. I've always taken a culture and talent focused approach, creating highly effective teams, helping them to build strong agency capability and increase revenues. After graduating from Birmingham University, I started my career in advertising working at Bates Dorland, Lowe and then TBWA. This was followed by a short but invaluable spell in FMCG marketing. I then held a series of senior leadership roles at the digital agency glue London / Isobar, culminating in being made Managing Director. In June 2013, I moved to GreyPOSSIBLE, a WPP joint venture, I also sat on the exec team of Grey London. In July 2016, I was promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Grey’s UK Group and was responsible for leading the Group’s specialist business units to create better ideas and drive revenue growth. In August 2017, I joined the Play Sports Group as Managing Director, helping to build the group into the world's leading specialist cycling media / agency business. During my time in that role, I helped to double the size of its agency - SHIFT Active Media, supported the launch of GTN, EMBN, new language GCN channels and provided strategy input and consultancy on the creation and subsequent launch of the GCN Club, GCN Events and GCN+, as the business became a thriving part of the global media powerhouse Discovery International. I am now the CEO and a shareholding partner of SHIFT Active Media (which is now once again a fully independent standalone business). SHIFT is the world's leading marketing agency dedicated to cycling. In this role I am fortunate enough to lead an extremely talented and passionate team of cycling marketing experts, working with some of the best bike brands on the planet including Zwift, Rapha, Cannondale, fizik, YT Industries, Continental and many many more.
