My duties as the Assistant Director of Catering include scheduling employees, hiring and training employees, organizing and preparing for functions, relaying client needs to the catering captain, meeting and greeting clients, as well as working with the catering coordinator to ensure our clients' needs and wants are met and exceeded. I also oversee the day to day operations and ensure that each and every function is successful.

I oversee events, direct catering staff, and maintain a close relationship with our client, the staff of the conference center. I also work closely with the Catering Director to maintain accurate inventories each week, as well as assisting in ordering product as needed, and inputting upcoming events into the CaterTrax System.

At the Hilton, I began as a Guest Services Agent, handling incoming calls; completing guest check in and check out procedures and handling any guest issues. I was quickly promoted to Sales Manager, where my duties included planning banquets and menus, organizing business meetings and seminars, group sales, and revenue management for the hotel, alongside the Director of Sales.
