Acted as product manager for several insulating fiber product lines including fiber bulks, blankets, papers, felts, boards, shapes, textiles, and polycrystalline fibers. Was a main point of contact and technical expert for those materials and coordinated actions between a variety of teams including sales, manufacturing, R&D, quality, materials control, pricing, engineering, customer service, and the end customers. Provided monthly sales reports and helped determine future budgets. Attended trade shows and made customer visits regularly. Learned how to quickly react to any issues that could occur within my product lines and how to address them utilizing the appropriate team members.

Helped develop engineered solutions for customers needing insulated systems in high temperature applications. Performed heat flow calculations and determined which insulating materials would work best per the customers requirements. Worked with drafting to create engineered drawings and bill of materials and assisted the sales team when presenting our proposals to the end customer.

Member of the AWD Platform team. Led several projects to improve the quality and cost of multiple vehicles. Projects varied from the improvement and cost reduction of individual components, to entire subsystems. Followed these projects from start to finish while performing and monitoring business cases, DFMEA's, design and evaluation of parts, functional and validation testing, supplier selection and part cost, drawing creation and approval, ECNs, and assisting manufacturing engineers with design implementation.
