As a project manager and landscape architect at Weisman Design Group I work on educational, housing, and commercial projects throughout the region. On each project I collaborate with our allied disciplines to bring designs from concept to completion. I particularly enjoy troubleshooting with other disciplines to overcome site specific design challenges, and working with contractors to get projects built well and on time.

Designed, managed, and built landscape improvement projects at the Danny Woo Community Garden in Seattle, WA. Projects included retaining walls and stairs at the steeply sloped garden site. Secured Design Review Board approval within the historic International District, produced cost estimates within a specified grant budget, and organized and led community volunteer build sessions.

For this position I organized and led on-the-ground forest education and restoration efforts for groups of 5 to 100 people. I supported office staff with public outreach to volunteers and cultivated positive connections with the community. I researched and presented on the topic of environmental education.

For this position I taught and entertained classes of twenty-five young adults with games and activities that I developed emphasizing scientific learning and discovery.
