As a highly skilled performer, educator, and administrator, over the past twenty years I have developed a broad skillset that is applicable in numerous environments. I carry entrepreneurial skills as a freelance musician, excellent communication skills through my experience as a teacher, and my interpersonal skills led my colleagues to select me as Music Department Chair. My management philosophy is centered around coalescing the varied needs of all individual members of my immediate team and determining the best path forward for to benefit the unit. By placing collaboration first, I make all colleagues feel understood as contributors to the objective of the unit.
