CurrentAs senior counsel at Tully Rinckey PLLC, William holds a wealth of knowledge about family and criminal law – the latter not only from working as an attorney in the field, but also as a New York State Police trooper and investigator.William earned his juris doctorate from the University at Buffalo Law School while working as a state trooper in the Cheektowaga barracks. He gained knowledge of all the elements surrounding felony, misdemeanor and DWI cases with his work as a State Trooper, and now uses that knowledge to help clients facing criminal charges.William also has experience in family and matrimonial law through his private practice work. He has drafted motions in all areas of family law, including divorces, child custody and visitation rights, and he has attended numerous hearings and argued motions before the courts.William earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Canisius College before pursuing his juris doctorate. Besides his careers with the State Police and as a sole practitioner, William has worked as an adjunct professor in criminal justice at Hilbert College and as an investigator/contractor with a bank.
