Lead Pump Technician
CurrentI have worked several positions while at Wind River Environmental and have obtained the following skills:- Driving and operating a Vactor truck- Maintaining and repairing Vactor truck equipment- Pumping and cleaning sewer lines, storm drains, and manholes- Removing debris and waste from pipes- Drive and operate sewer cleaning pump trucks- Pumping and cleaning of grease traps and disposing as required- Prepare pre-shift vehicle inspection- Septic System Inspection and Repairs- Efficiently managed the routes of 18 truck operators by carefully considering the jobs they were assigned and their locations. This resulted in on-time servicing, within budget, and with increased revenue. - Provide technical expertise to resolve difficult production and schedule problems.- Ensure that job sites are completed on time - Communicate with clients about the progress of job sites- Provide oversight of job sites as needed- Effectively communicate with managers, peers and partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed from them- Haul heavy machinery to and from job sites as needed- Offers excellent customer service at all times- Follows safety procedures and regulations- Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner- Ability to work in a team environment- Physical strength and stamina- A record of safe vehicle operation- Maintains strong attendance- The ability to learn quickly, a self-starter mentality, strong communication skills, and a solid work ethic- Class A CDL License with tank endorsement- Confined Space trained- Storm Water Maintenance Certification
